Drone Delivery System Puts on a Show

LAKEVILLE – Indianapolis-based DRONEDEK is continuing to showcase its technology throughout the Hoosier State to see if residents have a “taste” for the drone delivery service. The South Bend Tribune reports the startup recently held a demonstration in the St. Joseph County town of Lakeville.

The drone delivered a burrito from a local restaurant to an American Legion Hall a half mile away. The owners of Leo’s Family Restaurant have made an investment in the mailbox aspect of DRONEDEK.
